Board accepts right-of-way dedications for Park 65 site to support commercial development

The Lebanon Board of Works voted Feb. 9 to accept two right-of-way dedications tied to the Park 65 development, a commercial site described by staff as the Browning Investments property now home to McAllister Machine Rental near the Flying J truck stop.
Kevin explained the road that provides access to the site was previously private and that the city had already received a secondary plat dedication from one landholder; the two dedications before the board were warranty deeds from the remaining landowners (including the Flying J property) to make the roadway public. Kevin said the dedications are “just simple, right away dedications” that are consistent with those used for other residential and commercial subdivisions.
A board member moved to approve acceptance of the right-of-way dedications, the motion was seconded, and the chair called for a voice vote. The board approved the dedications on a voice vote; no individual vote tallies were read into the record. Staff said the dedications will be recorded and used to support the Park 65 infrastructure work.
