Williamsburg County Council adopted two ordinances transferring county-owned parcels to local entities during its regular meeting and public hearing.
The council approved Ordinance 2024-08 to convey TMS 11-025-132 (110 West Mill Street, Kingstree) to Bridal Aging of Williamsburg County Incorporated under an agreement dated April 20, 2021. Meeting Host said, "Please let the record reflect that the motion, has been carried to adopt ordinance number 2024-08." The motion to adopt was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote; no opposition was recorded.
The council then approved Ordinance 2024-07, conveying TMS 07-013-134 (approximately 0.4 acre on Main Street, Greeleyville) to the Town of Greeleyville for the sum of $10 to enable construction of a well intended to improve the town's water services.
