The board moved, seconded and approved sending the letter to Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper, and directed staff to also cc Senator Mike Lee. There was no roll-call tally recorded; commissioners approved the motion by voice vote.
A county staffer said she would confirm procedural details such as Senate vote thresholds and would forward the county’s formal comment as requested.
