Board hears timeline for new fuel farm; taxiway signage and restriping nearing completion

On the taxiway, Speaker 4 said there was a substantial-completion walkthrough last week that produced a punch list of items to be completed, and that runway hold-short signage (Alpha 5) has been ordered. "Those are supposed to be shipped on my birthday, November 26," the speaker said, and installation was planned for late November or early December.
On the fuel farm, Speaker 4 said American Environmental is entering a contract with Pyramid to finish civil site work (concrete, grading and conduit). He said the state oil-and-public-safety permits were issued last week, which allowed the vendor to order tanks; the speaker said the tanks are likely to arrive mid-March and that, if infrastructure is in place, the fuel farm could be operational by June but remains weather dependent.
The speaker added that crews will aim to complete conduit and pads before winter to avoid planting work during snow; the board discussed sequencing and reimbursement strategies using FAA AIP/BIL grant reimbursements and a discretionary CDOT grant to cover related costs.
Next steps: staff will continue civil work and coordinate with the contractor on tank delivery and hookup; no formal vote was taken at this meeting.
