The sealer program verifies commercial measuring devices — pumps, deli scales and other meters — and is aimed at protecting consumers and businesses from financial loss due to inaccurate equipment. The board cited M.G.L. c.40, s.22F as authority to update and adopt the fee schedule.
The motion was moved by Laura Zieten and seconded by Mike Tietjen. All members voted aye.
