Board ratifies budget actions, sets expenditure budget and uses fund balance

Finance Director Stacy McBride told supervisors on Jan. 12 that staff had been reconciling actions taken during the original budget adoption and that a ratification resolution would finalize those actions.
McBride reported the county expenditure budget figure as "$36,009.00 $7,336 and 15¢" as read at the meeting (verbatim reporting of the segment language) and said staff would also be adopting an additional approximately $221,000 from fund balance to balance the budget per state code. She said revenues will be reviewed and any changes brought back at a later quarter review.
A motion to approve Resolution 25‑18, ratifying budget actions as presented, was made and seconded. The board approved the resolution by roll call.
McBride said a third‑quarter review of revenues is expected in May and that staff will present any necessary adjustments then.
