Supervisor raised a previously discussed gap in Bay Transit bus service and presented a plan the transit provider proposed to eliminate the service gap for an additional combined $7,500. Staff reported the town of West Point agreed to pay half; the board approved the county’s share and specifically authorized $3,750 in additional funds to be added to the transit contract so Bay Transit can eliminate the gap and adjust service hours. The motion passed on voice/roll call with supervisors voting aye.
Staff said Bay Transit would notify riders of the new service hours once funding confirmation was received and contractual adjustments were completed.
