Public commenter Jack Finger urged denial, saying residents and stakeholders did not want "intense commercial uses" such as warehouses and used car lots adjacent to residences. Councilman Villagran moved to approve the items, noting he had worked with the applicant and the zoning commissioner; the motion was seconded by Mickey Rodriguez and the mayor announced the motion carries.
