"We feel like we could reduce it to 400," Farr said, adding the board had voted unanimously to support the recommendations.
Committee members asked whether overhead could be shared across boards to reduce costs; Farr said the new board already shares staff with other boards and that expenses were kept "lean and mean," though she cautioned fee reductions may take time. After brief questions and clarification on comparable regional fees, the subcommittee moved and approved document 5399 by voice vote.
The motion passed without a recorded roll‑call; the committee indicated unanimous assent with an "aye" voice vote. The subcommittee directed staff to include the approved fees in the budget materials and moved on to the next agenda item.
