Commission reviews parceling plan for Holiday Hills Blocks H–K

At the Dec. 1 Holiday Planning Commission work meeting, city staff presented a subdivision application to create individual parcels from Blocks H, I, J and a portion of Block K in the Royal Holiday Hills development.
Carrie Marsh explained the application divides the larger 'block' areas into saleable parcels for future development and said Block K had previously been reviewed for architecture and contains townhouses and smaller houses along Memory Lane. Staff said the city engineer has reviewed the parceling and given preliminary approval; if technical alignments or roadway overlaps appear in final submittals, the city engineer will require corrections before final approval.
Commissioners asked procedural and mapping questions about internal block lines and roadway easements; staff said detailed engineering checks occur at final review and that earlier architectural approvals covered portions of Block K.
