Holladay City Council approved a package of routine and substantive items during its Aug. 7 meeting, including a new outdoor lighting ordinance, an interlocal agreement for historical markers, a 30-year land lease for the former Spring Lane Elementary site, and updated agreements for prosecution and indigent defense services.
The council voted unanimously to adopt Ordinance 2025-13 amending Title 13.84 of the city code to set outdoor lighting standards. Council members Gray, Quinn, Fotheringham, Durham and Brewer each recorded “yes” votes and the chair cast the deciding vote.
