Wheedles told the meeting municipal court will work with people who demonstrate good-faith compliance with court requirements.
On bite investigations, the shelter said it does not currently separate human-bite cases from other animal-bite cases in its October data but is "actively working with the ordinance as far as separation of that to get that separated, to meet state standards better," according to Wheedles. Staff said they will verify the exact ordinance language and report back at future meetings.
