Andy Marquis of Media Advantage presented the redesigned San Angelo economic‑development website on Dec. 10 and outlined a suite of ongoing marketing efforts, including case studies, industry pages, dynamic monthly content and a podcast series mounted with Chamber support.
Marquis and his digital director walked the board through site pages intended for site selectors and industry partners, explained plans for interactive videos and monthly updates, and said the site will host board agendas, minutes and links to the city’s YouTube channel. Marquis described the podcast Moves That Matter — hosted by Michael Looney and Mike Berry — and said a special episode on data centers had been released; he reported that the podcast generated at least one lead.
Board members asked about map agility, contact‑form routing and archiving social‑media permit posts; Marquis said the site can be updated and that contact submissions historically filtered through the board office but routing could be adjusted. Members encouraged a central place for permit posts and noted the importance of keeping the site current and reflective of the board’s priorities.
