After returning from executive session on Feb. 2, the Rockwall City Council moved to fill vacancies on the Board of Adjustments.
Mayor Tim McCallum made a composite motion to appoint Dr. Catherine Castillo to a full term replacing an expired seat, to promote Carrie Shepherd from alternate to a full member for a term through August 2027, and to appoint Karen Williams as an alternate to serve to August 2026 (replacing Carrie Shepherd’s alternate position). Councilwoman Campbell seconded the motion. The council voted unanimously in favor; Councilmember Mueller was absent.
Mayor McCallum noted these actions were the result of the executive session and that the appointments will be reflected in the board roster and administrative records.
