Suamico introduces Deputy Clerk Alex Birkin to staff and board

Clerk Bartletti introduced Alex Birkin to the Suamico Village Board on Jan. 5, noting she began her role as deputy clerk on Dec. 15, 2025.
"On 12/15/2025, Alex Birkin started her new career with the village of Suamico as deputy clerk," Bartletti said, describing Birkin's prior work as Menominee County emergency management director, EMS responder and an EMS teaching assistant. Bartletti said Birkin is pursuing a master of public administration and will enroll in continuing education for municipal clerks.
Board members welcomed Birkin and noted the experience she brings for upcoming work on elections and the comprehensive plan.
