The Verona Board of Education approved a slate of routine agenda items during its Feb. 25, 2025 meeting.
Personnel items A1–A11 were moved by Missus Prisco and seconded by Mister Boone and carried on a roll call vote. Education items B1–B7 were moved by Mister Boone, seconded by Miss Prisco, and likewise approved. Ethics and co‑curricular items C1–C3 were moved and seconded and carried. Finance item E1 — which included continued audit services, cooperative electric/gas purchasing and related routine financial matters — was moved by Mister Waka, seconded by Mister Boone, and approved. Governance and policy items F1–F4, including the first reading of the electronic communications devices regulation, were moved and seconded and approved by roll call.
Roll calls recorded board members voting yes; the meeting transcript records the motions as carried. Public comment included a request from Carly Crinion of the Verona Music Parents Association to budget for new marching band uniforms for fall 2025.
