The Verona Board of Education approved a package of routine agenda items at its April 8 meeting.
The board voted to approve consent agenda items A1–A6 after a motion moved by Mister Boone and seconded by Miss Prisco; a roll call produced affirmative votes and the chair announced the motion carried. The board then approved education items B1–B8 (motion moved by another board member and seconded by Miss Prisco) and finance item E1; each motion passed on roll call.
Policy items F1 and F2 were moved by Mister Boone and seconded by Miss Prisco and likewise carried by roll call. The board also accepted staff scheduling recommendations for parent meetings for rising students — April 28 for parents of students entering grades 6–8 and April 30 for parents of rising grade 5 — and approved those dates by voice vote.
No substantive public comments were made (no members of the public were present). The board set its next meeting for Tuesday, April 29 at the High School Learning Commons and adjourned.
