Resident urges correction to Murray-Holladay Road mapping; commission agrees to review

Ron Hilton, a Holladay resident, addressed the Planning Commission during the public hearing on Sept. 30 and handed commissioners an enlarged packet of maps. Hilton said a community petition from about five years ago sought a low-density designation for an area surrounding Holiday Village, but the draft future land-use map still shows that area as medium density.
"About 5 years ago ... the community mounted a petition to change the designation ... so that the low density would ... be mostly low density. So that change isn't reflected here," Hilton said…
