City council reviews budget amendments; approves CDBG and NeighborWorks agreements

Council then moved and approved Resolution 2025-28 — an agreement with Salt Lake County for community development block grant (CDBG) funds — and Resolution 2025-29 — a service agreement with NeighborWorks to administer the housing rehab program. Roll-call votes were recorded as affirmative for the members present. Staff said the housing rehab funds will be administered by NeighborWorks (a nonprofit) and the city’s role will be outreach and program marketing.
No public testimony was offered on the budget amendments; the council closed the hearing and approved the two resolutions during the regular meeting.
