The Stillwater Utilities Authority adopted Resolution SUA 2025-8, authorizing execution of a release and termination of covenant agreement connected with the Campus Corner Creamery redevelopment at 229 South Knobloch Street.
The chair introduced the item and staff explained the Stillwater Economic Development Authority previously approved a related release associated with the sale. Staff said both SUA and the City of Stillwater are named beneficiaries in the covenant agreement and that adding SUA to the release is reasonable as the parties move toward closing. Staff also clarified that CETA (referred to in the transcript) is a separate legal entity from the City and SUA, which is why an additional SUA resolution is required.
A trustee moved adoption of Resolution SUA 2025-8; the motion was seconded, and trustees voted 4–0 to adopt the resolution. With the adoption, SUA is authorized to sign the release required to complete the property sale and redevelopment steps referenced in the staff presentation.
