"If the strategic plan is adopted today, staff, including myself, will meet with the strategic planning team and begin to put action items to each of the objectives," the executive officer said, noting action items will return to the board for review and approval.
Board members asked about next steps and timelines. Staff said final action items will be developed with the planning team and that quarterly briefings will track implementation. The board recorded an affirmative roll call on the motion to adopt the plan.
The board expects to publish the finalized plan on its website and to begin quarterly reporting on measurable progress toward the stated objectives.
