At their Feb. 10 meeting the Kosciusko County commissioners approved a series of routine consent items by voice vote.
Procurement: The sheriff’s office asked to purchase five 2026 Ford Police Explorers — four purchased from the vehicle budget and one from insurance repair-and-replacement funds. Bids were opened, and the commissioners approved selecting the Curlin Motors bid as lowest-cost and consistent with the county’s service relationship.
Civil-rights compliance: County Administrator Marsha McSherry presented a revised Title VI implementation plan describing the county’s obligations as a federal funds recipient under Title VI and related nondiscrimination statutes. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the revised plan.
Property: The county attorney requested assignment of a tax-sale certificate for a 0.65-acre tract known in the packet as the “Tinky Oil” property (East 715 W Market Street) to the City of Warsaw so the city can follow statutory procedures to obtain title and pursue cleanup grants; commissioners approved the resolution and assignment so the county is removed from the chain of title.
Contracts: County Clerk Melissa Boggs presented a 2026 attorney services agreement with Adam Turner; commissioners moved, seconded and approved the agreement.
Each item passed on a voice vote with no roll-call tallies recorded in the meeting transcript.
