Commissioners approve quick-claim deed from historical society for Chinworth Bridge project

Greg Steffey, president of the historical society, attended and spoke in support of the transfer. Commissioners moved and seconded the requested acceptance and approved the conveyance by voice vote.
What’s next: The transfer clears title for county stewardship and allows county staff and the Friends of the Trails to proceed with project planning and protections for the bridge and adjacent trail infrastructure.
