Snoqualmie council amends minutes, adds executive session and approves consent agenda

The Snoqualmie City Council on Feb. 9 approved an amendment to the minutes, added an executive and closed session to the agenda, and adopted the consent agenda.
Council member Bert Johnson moved to change the minutes date from Jan. 20 to Jan. 26; the motion was seconded and the council approved the amendment by voice vote. Johnson then moved to add an executive session under RCW 42.30.110 (potential litigation) and RCW 42.30.110(b) (real-estate/site selection) and a closed session under RCW 42.30.140(4)(b) (collective bargaining strategy); that motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.
The council then approved the consent agenda—including the meeting minutes dated Jan. 26, 2026, and the claims report dated Feb. 9, 2026—by unanimous voice vote. No public comments were made during the non-agenda public-comment period.
Mayor James Mayhew announced the council would adjourn into the executive and closed sessions and said there was no planned action to follow the closed session. Members listed staff expected to join the session, including HR Director Kim Johnson and Community Development Director Mona Davis.
