The Stevens County Board of Commissioners voted to accept zoning ordinance amendments that the county planning commission recommended following a public hearing on Aug. 14.
Staff provided commissioners with copies of the ordinance language showing where changes were made and a link to the full order. The planning commission's recommendation was introduced at the board meeting; a commissioner moved to accept the planning commission's proposed amendments, another seconded, and the board approved the motion by voice vote.
No substantive public objections were recorded at the board meeting; staff said the changes had been discussed in prior work sessions and the planning commission hearing.
