The Town Council unanimously approved Subdivision Plat P25-204 (Teton Landing townhomes edition) on Jan. 5, allowing three lots (8, 10 and 12) in an existing five-lot subdivision in East Jackson to be split into six lots. Planner Teton Valentine presented the request and said the proposal is consistent with the neighborhood median density (NM-1) zoning and prior approvals; the project involves side-by-side duplexes nearing completion and requires plat approval before recording.
Teton Valentine said permits for the lots were issued in 2023 and staff recommended approval subject to standard conditions related to parking and school impact fees. John Graham, representing the applicant, spoke in favor and offered to answer questions. Councilor Deaton moved to approve the plat based on the staff report dated 01/05/2026; the motion was seconded and passed by unanimous voice vote.
The town noted the road serving the subdivision is private and remains the responsibility of property owners, not the town. Staff said the plat would be recorded with the clerk following council approval and satisfaction of conditions.
