Jackson council approves zoning change, code amendments and annexation on routine votes

Ordinance A: staff read a zoning-map amendment to change two parcels (Block 9, addresses 252 and 254 E. Simpson Ave.) from office-residential to public/semi-public. Councilor Haim moved approval on second reading and the motion passed unanimously.
Ordinances B and C were read together on first reading: amendments to article 1 (nonconformities) and article 6 (parking and loading standards) of the land development regulations. Council approved both on first reading by a single motion and voice vote.
Ordinance D would annex a parcel generally east of Nelson Drive described by section/township/range; Councilor Regan moved to approve the annexation on first reading and the motion passed unanimously.
