Jackson council approves 81 annual liquor-license renewals

Lindsay Linneman of Internal Services briefed the Town Council on the annual liquor-license renewal process and told the council the town received 81 renewal applications for the 2026–27 liquor year. “This year, we had 81 applications for renewal,” Linneman said, and confirmed there had been 82 license holders previously because one business (Fiesta Jackson LLC) closed and did not apply.
Linneman described the town’s administrative process — applications are compiled in October and reviewed with the Wyoming Liquor Division in January, with corrections handled through March so renewals can be issued by the April 1 start of the license year.
A motion to approve the renewal applications, moved and seconded on the record, passed unanimously. The motion was moved by Councilor Schefter and seconded by Councilor Beeman per the minutes. Staff and police department representatives were available during the hearing for questions about ID compliance and calls for service, though the council recorded no requests for follow-up and approved the renewals as presented.
The council closed the public hearing without modifying the staff recommendation; the renewals proceed subject to any additional minor corrections the Wyoming Liquor Division or staff identify before issuance.
