Council approves transfer of restaurant liquor license to Murrysville location

"This is the former Atria's restaurant. We're excited to see a new business going in there," Chief Administrator Michael said while explaining the transfer process and noting the license is being transferred from Mount Pleasant. A motion to adopt the resolution was made and seconded; council members voted unanimously in favor.
Michael said the owner of the originating license has discretion over any prior license that accompanied the previous business, and staff were not certain whether the departing license remains within the municipality. No further discussion was recorded. The resolution passed with unanimous approval.
