Before the board discussed the transfer, business owners and board members spent time on a related operating detail: a semi‑permanent, custom‑built food trailer installed adjacent to the Mount Airy Inn taproom. The trailer’s representative (Speaker 1) said it was built to fit the site, includes a 4,000‑pound pizza oven and grease trap, and has refrigeration sufficient for about 1½ to 2 days; vendors reportedly resupply almost daily. The board asked for copies of the landlord approval letter, the sublease and any corporate resolutions; the applicant’s team said they would provide those documents.
Commissioners said the transfer appeared largely administrative given prior hearings and inspections at the applicant’s other locations. Commissioner comments on the record noted the county’s licensing limits and that administrative formalities had been addressed in the submitted packet.
A motion to approve the application and to dispense with certain formalities was made by a board member and seconded; the chair announced the motion carried and congratulated the applicant.
The board closed the matter with a request that the applicant furnish the requested corporate documentation and landlord approval for the file. The board’s action clears the way for Iliano to operate Mount Airy Inn as the named licensee; related ownership swaps for other locations remain to be finalized in subsequent hearings.
