She urged veterans to coordinate prosthetics or mobility equipment needs with providers before scheduled procedures so the items can be processed in advance.
The committee asked for clarification about dermatology vouchers after a veteran reported a post-operative incision; Cavito confirmed that active dermatology vouchers can be used for follow-up checks. She directed veterans with questions to their providers and the VA staff for voucher qualification and next steps.
