Weld County commissioners on Dec. 24 approved a package of contracts and intergovernmental agreements, including a design and engineering contract for a backup emergency communications building, a 2026 workers’ compensation insurance policy and several county banking and investment designations.
Toby Taylor of the county purchasing division told commissioners the low bid for bid B250139 — design and engineering services for a backup emergency communications building at 3105 35th Avenue in Greeley — met specifications. "The low bid is from Markley Design LLC and meet specifications. Therefore, the Facilities Department recommends award ... in the amount of $106,450," Taylor said. The board approved the award by motion, with a unanimous vote.
