Trail bridges flagged for repairs; city staff outlines mid-September fixes and ongoing maintenance

Members also raised enforcement and safety issues, reporting increased use of electric bikes and 'mini bikes' on the trail; one member said mini bikes had recently been impounded and that repeat offenders would face property seizure.

Cost-scale concerns emerged repeatedly: members contrasted the limited local funds available for patching with multimillion-dollar price tags for bridge replacements or major connections to regional trail systems.
