The Whitehall‑Coplay School Board unanimously approved a resolution adopting the district's reorganization plan and separately approved a personnel agenda during a Feb. 8 special meeting.
Board president Mister Malay presented the reorganization resolution as part of executive committee matters; after a motion and second the board polled members by roll call and recorded nine "yes" votes, and the motion carried. Shortly afterward, Mister Shifford asked the board to approve personnel items "as attached." That motion also passed on a recorded 9–0 vote.
Both votes were taken by roll call; members recorded as voting "yes" during the reorganization motion included Missus Gogler, Doctor Hartman, Missus Faino, Mister Kubat, Mister McCool, Mister Saloom, Mister Shields, Mister Williams and Mister Fonzone. The personnel roll call recorded the same outcome with names called and recorded in the minutes.
Other items on the special meeting agenda were either informational or slated for a future full‑board vote. The administration said the independent audit and governance letter will be brought to the board for approval at the February regular meeting. The special meeting was adjourned to allow committee meetings to begin.
The board listed Feb. 23 and Feb. 27 as upcoming meeting dates for regular and committee business.
