Weld County honors long-serving Department of Human Services employee Rhonda Behring

The Weld County Board of Commissioners presented a certificate of achievement on Dec. 29 honoring Rhonda Behring for nearly 30 years of service in the Department of Human Services.
Jamie Ulrich and Stacy Devore praised Behring’s decades of work in child protection and youth services and said she had a sustained record of advocacy and engagement that benefited many children and families. In remarks to the board, Behring said she will continue working in the community as a case consultant for attorneys and will remain involved with youth services beyond her county employment.
The board’s certificate notes Behring’s county service from October 1996 to Feb. 1, 2026. Commissioners thanked Behring for her service and invited her to take a photo with the board.
