Nathan Miller, who identified himself as the petitioner and said he resides at 1200 Virginia Avenue in La Porte, told the commission the parcel has two long-standing residences and two mailboxes (1101 and 1103) and that utilities and occupancy are currently separate. "It's simple and straightforward," Miller said, arguing the subdivision would be more convenient for the residents.
