According to Chief Fotis, the department's data collection includes ethnicity, searches and consent to search, whether the officer knew ethnicity before the stop, use of physical force during the stop, the location of the stop and the reason for the stop. Chief Fotis told the council the department has satisfied the statutory data audit requirements for the 2025 reporting period, citing the relevant code provision noted in the department's submission.
Council members did not ask follow‑up questions on the record and there was no formal action required; the presentation was provided to the governing body as a statutorily required report.
