The Tulare County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve the consent calendar during its Feb. 10 evening meeting, and used the session largely for district updates and community announcements.
The Board approved the consent calendar on a motion by Supervisor Valero, seconded by Supervisor Townsend; the Chair called the vote and recorded a 5–0 tally. Earlier in the agenda the Chair had convened a closed session, which County counsel said was necessary and would not produce an announcement; after the closed session counsel reported there was "nothing to report."
