The Dripping Springs Planning & Zoning Commission on Monday recommended approval of a zoning map amendment and conditional overlay to allow a contractor’s office with outside storage at 28501 Ranch Road 12, subject to conditions aimed at protecting adjacent homes.
The motion, made by Commissioner Strong and seconded by another commissioner, adopted staff recommendations with two changes: increasing the masonry screening along the eastern property line from six to eight feet, and limiting Summit Drive access to a crash gate or other emergency-only access for fire and EMS. The motion carried unanimously and will go to city council for final consideration.
