Dripping Springs council picks Haff and Associates to lead Parks and Open Space master plan

Council approved staff’s recommendation to select Haff and Associates to prepare an updated Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. Staff reported nine statements of qualifications in February, narrowed to two firms for interview, and recommended Haff and Associates based on staff scoring and the interview panel.
"We went out for a request for qualifications and had nine agencies fill out statements of qualifications," staff said, describing the procurement and scoring process. Natalie Boot of Haff and Associates attended the meeting and was available for questions.
A council member moved to select Haff and Associates and authorize the city administrator to negotiate a professional services agreement; a second was recorded and the motion passed by voice vote. The agenda packet included the firms’ statements of qualifications.
No contract was signed on July 2; staff were authorized to negotiate terms and return with a proposed agreement for council approval.
