Weber County finance staff reported the county issued eight purchase orders this week totaling about $320,000 and 208 warrants (checks) totaling roughly $2.3 million during the Feb. 10 commission meeting.
Finance manager Ricky Hatch told commissioners about the week’s purchases and warrants. "We issued 8 purchase orders this week for $320,000," Hatch said, adding two‑thirds of that—about $205,000—was for the fleet department to purchase vehicles for the sheriff. Hatch said about $109,000 went to property management for janitorial supplies.
Hatch said the county issued 208 checks for approximately $2.3 million. He identified the top payees as Young Ford ($599,000) for vehicles, Ogden City ($428,000), Republic Services ($397,000), BCP Hyde Park LLC ($93,000) and Brodart ($87,000). He also noted payments for the transfer station (disposal fees) and a ramp award to Ogden City for the Marshall White Center.
Commissioners asked no follow‑up questions and approved the consent agenda, which included these purchase orders and warrants, by voice vote.
