County staff brief commissioners on renewing Verifint verification contract; no county cost reported

"There's no cost to the county. So the lending agencies typically pay the fee," Veil said, explaining the vendor model and why staff recommend continuing the service.
Veil said renewing the contract for another five years would streamline administrative work and avoid dedicating a full-time employee to handle the volume of verification requests. Staff plan to place the renewal on the commission meeting agenda the following week for formal consideration.
