Dr. Wilson and Lindsay Redick described an agreement with the YMCA to provide wrap care tied to consolidation and the time‑change schedule. The YMCA will announce 2026–27 wrap care rates on March 1; flyers and registration information will be released March 2; legacy registration for current Y families is set for March 27 (10:00 a.m.) and general registration will open April 13. UPK families were asked to commit to UPK spots by April 1 because those decisions may depend on access to wrap care. The district said it will support the YMCA’s hiring (including work‑study placements) and advertising needs.
Board members praised the effort to preserve teacher and student voice in consolidation decisions and asked that the district continue to provide clear, accessible information for families as plans evolve.
Next steps include continued collaboration among lead teachers, scheduled board facility tours (administrators suggested April), and further community communications as consolidation milestones are reached.
