Clermont County commissioners approve payments, contracts and appropriations; adopt several resolutions

BATAVIA, Ohio — The Clermont County Board of Commissioners took a series of formal actions Feb. 11, adopting resolutions and approving contracts and procurement actions across finance, transportation and facilities.
Key actions approved by roll call (unanimous where recorded):
- Payments to vendors (Resolution O27-26) totaling $3,179,928.62, authorizing the county auditor to issue warrants under Ohio Rev. Code §319.16.
- Amendment to prior motor vehicle procurement (Resolution 028-26), revising estimated prices to $2,000,600 and $76,950 for appropriated funds pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code §§307.41 and 307.86'27.92.
- Annual county highway system mileage certification: county certified 383.331 eligible miles for calendar year 2025 under Ohio Rev. Code §4501.04.
- Authorization for County Engineer Jeremy P. Evans to execute a local federal project agreement (PID 123552) with ODOT for Glancy Corner Road rehabilitation (estimated cost $362,120; federal share 80%) under the terms presented.
- Procurement and contract actions: the board approved advertising for polymer bids for the Water Resources Department (bid schedule posted to the county website), approved a design contract with American Structurepoint Inc. for the Viking lift-station improvements (not to exceed $188,000), accepted final payment and release of retainage to Kramer Feldman Inc. for the Public Defender's office addition ($13,405.01), authorized advertising for the Filager Campus Improvements Phase 2, and authorized the county administrator to execute the first renewal option with Millennium Business Systems extending the contract to 05/14/2027.
