The Morgan County Redevelopment Commission approved its financial report and a corrected February claims total during a regular meeting.
Linda Pruitt, who presented the financial report, told commissioners the West Point TIF began Jan. 1 with a balance of $2,026,005.66 and reported multiple fund figures, including an Eagle Valley ending balance of $7,176,718.55. She said State Revolving Fund accounts showed an ending construction-account balance of $40,921.85 and a debt service reserve of $926,681.81. "The remaining pledge amount as of December 31 is $51,117.67," Pruitt said.
Commissioners questioned a $5,100 professional-services line under Eagle Valley and compared it to February claims. Speaker 2 confirmed the total February claims were $5,257.33 and clarified that Mann's consulting should be listed as $3,033.33 rather than $2,730, a carryover error. The commission noted the agenda line was inaccurate, moved to record the correction and passed the claims.
A motion to approve the financial report was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The meeting record shows routine acknowledgment of line-item questions and an instruction to note the updated consulting amount in the claims record.
The commission took no public comment during the designated public-comment period and moved on to other agenda items.
