Brady outlined subgroup improvements: Black students up 10 percentage points from PM1 to PM2; white students up 13 points; Hispanic students up 10 points; ELL up 9 points; students with disabilities up 6–8 points depending on band.
Brady tied the work to targeted strategies including strong core instruction, professional learning communities and supports funded through the state’s Comprehensive Support Grant (CSG). He said schools with long‑running subgroup deficits in ELL and SWD populations were prioritized for grant activities and that most schools created strategic support plans based on midyear trends.
The superintendent noted the gains and highlighted other district successes, including Advanced Placement honors at multiple high schools and student participation in regional competitions.
