Johnson County commissioners on Feb. 9 approved a routine consent agenda that included parks grants and minutes; approved scope of work with Imaging Office Systems and a Toshiba purchase order and maintenance contract for the auditor’s office; appointed Christine Waltham to the Nineveh Conservancy District Board; approved an appointment to the Johnson County Community Corrections Advisory Board (recommendation for Michelle Grace to fill the remaining term); approved an addendum to an agreement with Johnson County Community Foundation Inc.; and approved claims presented by staff, including a $449.98 claim for sheriff’s office furnishings.
Motions for the consent agenda, auditor items, appointments and claims were seconded and approved by voice votes. The sheriff was not present to explain a furniture claim; commissioners accepted staff assurance that the items were for jail use.
These routine approvals proceed under the board’s consent procedures and do not represent policy changes beyond the appointments and contract approvals noted.
