LeShane itemized major allocations: $59,000,000 for the 50‑mile waterline replacement from Grand Isle to Lafitte; $17,000,000 for debris removal in the Barataria Basin waterways; $11,000,000 for temporary repair and stabilization of the Grand Isle waterline; $4,200,000 for the Rose Thorn Gym replacement; and $1,400,000 for a private-property demolition program, bringing the total recovery investment to more than $94,000,000, the president said.
LeShane credited the parish's public-safety, grants administration and public-works teams for the lengthy technical and documentation work required to secure federal approvals. She said the funding will support critical infrastructure projects and long-term resilience work linked to Hurricane Ida recovery.
