The Pasco School Board voted unanimously to approve the consent agenda at its Feb. 10 meeting. The consent package included personnel items, warrants, conditional certificates and a series of overnight and out-of-state student-travel requests.
Travel approvals listed on the consent agenda included multiple FCCLA delegations to the Washington State FCCLA leadership conference in Spokane; Chiawana High School band trips to Pullman, Washington and Moscow, Idaho for college visits and performances; Pasco High School Key Club travel to the PNW Key Club District Convention in Portland, Oregon; Pasco High School FFA travel to the State Veterinary Science Competition in Sumner, Washington; Wind Ensemble travel to Seattle; New Horizons High School FFA student leadership series travel to Wenatchee; Pasco High School Robotics Club travel to SkillsUSA in Lakewood; and Pasco High School career exploration travel to Seattle.
An unidentified board member moved to pass the consent agenda “as presented;” the motion was seconded, a roll call was completed by Miss Richardson, and the chair announced the motion carried unanimously.
The consent agenda motion was procedural; no items were pulled for separate discussion at the meeting.
