Chris Kretz elected chair; George Eaton selected vice chair of Davenport Historic Preservation Commission

The Davenport Historic Preservation Commission accepted new leadership by acclamation at its Feb. 10 meeting.
Commissioners moved and seconded an acclamation vote to make Chris Kretz chairperson for the coming year. The commission also confirmed George Eaton as vice chair by acclamation; commissioners asked that minutes reflect Eaton was nominated and approved.
Both leadership changes will take effect in March. Commissioner Kretz will be the signatory for administrative correspondence, including the consultation-interest letter on the East 13th Street bridge project that staff said it would draft.
